On February 6, the Economic Inspection and Law Enforcement Bureau of Hefei Administration for Industry and Commerce conducted a surprise inspection on a shop and warehouse located in the Yishihui Commercial Street, Xicheng, a new industrial park in Shushan District, according to the tip off clues. It was found that the party involved in the shop, Geng, was suspected of selling 1092 bottles of counterfeit Baijiu of famous brands such as "Kweichow Moutai" and "Wuliangye", with a case value of more than 320000 yuan.
It is understood that the special campaign to crack down on counterfeit goods began on February 2nd and lasted for a month. It comprehensively inspected the holiday market, focused on rectifying key areas and prominent problems, curbed the rebound of illegal counterfeiting and sales, swept away all kinds of counterfeit and shoddy goods, and achieved further purification of the holiday market. The focus of the concentrated campaign is to investigate wholesale markets, market markets, operator warehouses, shopping malls, supermarkets, trade fairs, rural markets (temple fairs) and other commodity distribution centers and centralized trading areas with high transaction volume and consumption concentration, as well as urban-rural junction areas, rural areas, and campus areas with high incidence of illegal activities; Key efforts will be made to crack down on illegal activities such as "branding", infringement of trademark exclusive rights, unfair sales with prizes, commercial bribery, false advertising, sale of substandard goods, publication of illegal advertisements, and use of the internet to sell counterfeit and inferior goods; Focus on rectifying commodities such as tobacco and alcohol, food, clothing, shoes and hats, daily chemical products, household appliances, electronic products, fireworks and firecrackers, automotive parts, home decoration, and children's toys.
At present, the bureau has taken administrative compulsory (detention) measures against multi brand Baijiu suspected of trademark infringement, and the case is under further investigation
